Sr. Full Stack Engineer, Payments at RooBet

The role

At RooBet, one of the largest online gaming platforms, I joined the Payments team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. My focus was building and maintaining the crypto and fiat payment infrastructure that users interact with on every deposit and withdrawal.

What I built

• Fireblocks integration: implemented secure crypto custody and transaction management via the Fireblocks API, handling the secure movement of digital assets at scale.
• Cashier UI: built and maintained cashier components in React/TypeScript, covering the deposit and withdrawal flows that users interact with directly.
• Payment microservices: developed Node.js microservices handling payment processing logic, keeping the payment layer decoupled and independently deployable.
• Database layer: worked with PostgreSQL for transaction management and payment state persistence.
• Observability: implemented Datadog APM and monitoring to surface payment errors and latency issues in a high-volume, high-availability environment.
